Eggs Up Grill--a Restuarant Review

Went for a leisurely late breakfast at the Eggs Up Grill restaurant in the Oakwood Commons Shopping Center in Hermitage.  This restaurant has only been open for a couple of years and by going at 10:30 a.m. on a Tuesday would preclude us from being involved in the breakfast or lunch crowds. The restaurant was bright and airy and was about half filled at this hour We were promptly seated by a smiling hostess.

The vast menu offered a variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch items.  We chose from the breakfast menu.  The griddle menu offered several pancake choices and they all included a side dish of two eggs and sausage or bacon.  I chose the two pancakes with my choice be two scrambled eggs and two sausage patties.  My guest also chose the two pancakes and two eggs over easy and two strips of bacon.  The service was very quick with the waiter promptly taking our order.  The cooking station was located behind a counter in the rear of the building and order was delivered to our table quickly.  The pancakes were large and fluffy and quite tasty. Maple syrup dispensers were on the table for the pancakes.  Even though they were delicious, I was unable to eat the entire serving.  The two sausage patties were somewhat dry but still tasty.  The eggs were scrambled to perfection and was the highlight of my meal. My guest also expressed appreciation for his meal with no complaints.

In keeping up with its Eggs Up name the restaurant has a bulletin on the back of the restaurant which totals the number of eggs they have served since they opened.  Needless to say, that number was in the hundreds of thousands and growing.  I highly recommend the Eggs Up Grill restaurant for a delightful breakfast.
