"Family" Flowers Through Many Years

This is my grandfather's home in the country where my father grew up.  This photo was taken around 1930.  Growing in that yard were some peonies that had been there for many years.  They were dug up in the 1950s and transferred to my parents home in downtown Cadiz, Kentucky.  In the 1970s, the peonies were dug up again and transferred to my first home in Hermitage, Tennessee.  In the year 2000 they were transferred again to my second home in Hermitage.  Pictured below are those same peonies blooming in my yard in the spring of 2022.  These peonies are at least 80 years old and have been in the family all these years.
