The Great Ice Storm of Winter 2026

During the last week of January 2026, Nashville experienced a snow and extreme ice storm which left over 200,000 homes in the county without power.  The power outage lasted for more than ten days for some homes.  Although the Bridges family did not suffer a power storage, it still was caught amidst the snow and the ice.  East Tennessee was also struck by the storm and fortunately received no ice but did receive around six to eight inches of snow
